Tanglette™ Wood Tiles are handcrafted from unfinished basswood plywood and designed for artists, tanglers, and makers. Available in official Zentangle® tile sizes as well as select custom sizes, each Tanglette is ready for drawing, tangling, painting, pyrography (wood burning), alcohol inks, colored pencil, and other creative techniques.

Every Tanglette includes an integrated stand, so your finished artwork is ready to display. No separate frame is required.

This Classic Collection Tanglette features a lightly engraved tile outline to help position your artwork. Future Tanglette collections will include engraved strings, decorative patterns, and custom designs.

Each Tanglette is lightly sanded by hand to reduce laser char and provide a clean, smooth surface that's ready for your creativity.

Looking for something unique? Custom Tanglettes are also available. If you have a favorite string, pattern, logo, or design you'd like engraved, I'd be happy to work with you to create it.

Each Tanglette is handmade in small batches from unfinished basswood in my Sonoma County, California studio. Natural variations in wood grain, color, and subtle laser marks are part of the character of every piece.
