About Sweetwater Cats

If you’re like many Zentangle® artists, your tiles and tools end up in neat little stacks, drawers, or tins where you rarely see them. You know they deserve better, but it’s hard to find frames and organizers that actually fit Zentangle tiles and still look good in your space.

Sweetwater Cats exists to fix that—and I’m thrilled to introduce you to my frames, boxes, and tool holders designed specifically for Zentangle® tiles.

I’m Laura, a Certified Zentangle Teacher (CZT) and the maker behind Sweetwater Cats. I love creating pieces that give your tiles a real home—on your wall, on your desk, or beside your favorite chair—so you can see them and feel proud of what you’ve created.

Most of my designs are intentionally unfinished wood so you can customize them just like you customize a tile: paint, stain, tangle directly on the frame, add names, dates, or little flourishes that are uniquely yours. There’s no one “right” way to make them your own.

My goal is to give your tiles and tools a place that feels as considered as the art itself: sturdy, well-sized pieces that make it easy (and a little bit delightful) to display what you’ve finished and organize what you’re working on, so everything is ready when you are.
