Terms of Service – Sweetwater Cats

By placing an order with Sweetwater Cats, you agree to the terms and conditions below. Please read them carefully before purchasing.

Orders and payment
All prices are listed in U.S. dollars. Payment is due at the time of checkout. I reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, for example if a product is unavailable, there is an error in pricing or product information, or payment cannot be processed. If I cancel an order after you have been charged, I will issue a full refund for that order.

Shipping
Current shipping details, including rates and estimated processing times, are described in my Shipping policy. By placing an order, you agree to those shipping terms. Once a package is accepted by the carrier, delivery timing is largely outside my control. I’ll help you work with the carrier if there is a delivery issue.

Returns and exchanges
Current return and exchange terms are described in my Returns & Exchanges policy. By placing an order, you agree to those terms, including any time limits for requesting a return, the condition of items being returned, and who pays return shipping.

Custom and personalized items
Custom and personalized items are made specifically for you and are not returnable except in cases of damage or an error on my part. I may cancel or refuse a custom order if the requested content is offensive, unlawful, or infringes on someone else’s rights.

Product descriptions and variations
I do my best to describe and photograph each item accurately. However, colors, wood grain, and other natural variations may appear slightly different in person than on your screen. Because these pieces are handmade and laser cut, small variations in engraving depth, color, or placement can occur and are not considered defects. Please note that you may also see occasional light scorch or smoke marks from the laser process.

Intellectual property
All designs, text, photos, and other content in my shop and on my website are the property of Sweetwater Cats unless otherwise noted. You may not copy, reproduce, resell, or use my designs or photos for commercial purposes without my written permission.

Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sweetwater Cats is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of my products or website. My total liability for any claim related to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be handled in the appropriate courts located in California.
